Mini Workshops ( 4-6 hours)
These workshops can be scheduled privately and they require a minimum of 4 hours. The fees cover the use of supplies such as waxes, hot plates, temperature gauges and fusing tools.
1 person : 4 hours - $300. Thereafter, hours 5 and 6 will be at $60 per hour
2 people: 4 hours - $500. Thereafter, hours 5 and 6 will be at $95 per hour
For private workshops: Full payment will be required upon scheduling. Workshops can be reserved at mutually convenient times on a first come basis. Payment terms are available.

Contemporary Encaustic Techniques Sat., March 6, 10 am-3 pm
Learn solvent-free approaches to working and painting safely with encaustic. This medium is compatible with drawing, oil painting and sculpture. Learning will be hands-on with demos covering traditional and contemporary methods. No prior experience necessary. Takes place at Michelle’s studio in the Crane Arts Building in Philadelphia.
$225 M/$265 NM,
$25 Supply Fee payable in class
Image Transferring & Monoprinting to Wax Sun., March 7, 10 am-3 pm
This course will concentrate on transferring and layering personal imagery onto and into the wax. Imitation gold leaf, carbon paper and graphite transferring will be some of the techniques covered. A copy machine will be available to assist with projects. Open to intermediate and advanced students who have taken a previous encaustic workshop. Takes place at Michelle’s studio in the Crane Arts Building in Philadelphia.
